Scuffle between Khan and Sharma February 24, 2012

Recently, Saif Ali Khan was engaged in a scuffle with Iqbal Sharma (Business man) and his senior citizen relative. I watched The News Hour Debate on TIMES NOW , there were 5 people on panel including Shobha De. Arnab was throwing various aspects of the incident to all panelists as usual to know their stand. Here, I have drawn some points from Debate and some of them from me.
- Four out of five panelist were interested in believing Mr.Khan’s version of how everything happened. They were saying that he has been coming from Nawab family and he would not do that. But, what I see here is that it is not justified that a person cannot do the some sort of act because he has not done it before. I mean, every person is committing crime some where in his life for first time. This kind of trend is observed in Bollywood for long period where People of that community support their members no matter what they have done, right or wrong.
- Filmy actors are not hero at all and we need to stop call them hero in India, because they are the ones who get fame and money out of public and then behave like they are above common man, the same thing applies to politicians who always feel proud in showing no respect for people whether it is attending public meeting on time . Nobody can challenge dignity and respect of a human , especially when you are well educated person it is the least expected etiquette from your side. The expectation is quite reasonable, that treat others as you would wanted to be treated.
- Shobha De come up with vague argument that they are people with high sterss levles. Ok Shobha who told him to be actor then, I mean become some bank clerk and live stress free life. She also mentioned that she is not trying to justify the incident by saying so which she actually did and then covering up with denying it(I have no ego , by saying that one is proving his ego from back door).Actually, bank clerk also not might have the stress free life, so does every other person on earth might have same issues with life but people are not behaving in such manner.
- One more comfortable argument for advocating for Mr.Khan was that this might be a publicity stunt. This is very easy to brought wherever and whenever they want. But, it is a right of every person to defend them selves and by just concentrating on publicity stunt is not acceptable at all.
- Sometimes this also might happen because news channels are taking far more interest in celebrities personal life as they are not able to find relevant stories for 24 hr broadcasting. Hence, the celebrities get frustrated , which may burst out on some one, some where. I don’t see anything kind of that happened in Mr.Khan and Mr.Sharma incident but this might be a reason for such incidents.
- The most ridiculous thing which come in defending of Mr.Khan was the picture provided by his lawyer. Come on Saif, why you are insulting intellect of people ? Saif is so vulnerable that a single man with such ruff attitude would be bullied by a person where there were two more acquaintances of Mr. Khan.
I think people having some sort of publicity or status due to political influence do such kind activity most often but here the other party was also capable enough to prosecute and that is why it has up scaled so high. I think one, either Saif or Iqbal might have ate more WASABI 
,which lead to this situation.

ઇન્ડિયન ક્રિક્રેટ ટીમ ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા માં ટેસ્ટ સીરીઝ માં સારું પરફોર્મ નથી કરી રહી ત્યારે લોકો ને જોક બનાવવાની મજા પડે છે પણ આ માં થી મોટા ભાગના એવા વ્યક્તિવિશેષ હશે કે જેઓ એ ભારત વર્લ્ડકપ જીત્યો ત્યારે એક અઠવાડિયા સુધી એની હાઇલાઇટ જોઈ ને ગોખી નાખી હશે. જો વાર્ષિક સરવૈયું કાઢવામાં આવે તો ભારતીય ટીમ નું પરફોર્મન્સ એવરેજ કક્ષા નું કહી શકાય તેવું રહે છે (એક સીરીઝ માં વ્હાઇટવોશ કરાવે અને બીજી માં કરે ). સચિન અત્યારે એના કેરિયર ના એન્ડ પર આવી ને ઉભો છે ત્યારે આપણે એ જોવા નું છે કે આપણી યાદ શક્તિ કેટલી છે, તેણે દેશ માટે દોડી દોડી ને ૧૮૦૦૦ + ૧૫૦૦૦ થી વધુ રન બનાવ્યા છે. આ ખેલાડી એવો છે કે એની એબીલીટી અને ક્રેડીબીલીટી પર કોઈ આંગળી ચીંધી શકે નહિ (ક્રેડીબીલીટી શબ્દ એટલા માટે વાપર્યો કારણકે કેટલાક એવા ઉલ્લુ ઓ છે જે કહે છે કે સચિન સદી બનાવવા જ રમે છે, અરે એ રમે છે અને સદી બની જતી હસે, અને કયો બેટ્સમેન એવો છે કે જે સદી બનાવવા ના રમતો હોય ?) મારો ઈરાદો ભારતીય ક્રિકેટ ટીમ ની હાર ને કવર કરવાનો નથી. મોટા ભાગના જોક બનાવનારા ડાય હાર્ડ ફેન હોઈ શકે નહિ,જો તેઓ એ કેટેગરી ના ફેન હોય તો એમના થી જોક બને નહિ કે કોઈ બનાવે તો એવા જોક સહન થાય નહિ.
યાદ રહે કે આપણે આપણી રિસ્પેક્ટ અને ડીગ્નીટી ખુદ નહિ જાળવીએ તો કોઈ નહિ જાળવે.
ભારત ના પ્રજાસત્તાક દિન નિમિતે એટલો વિચાર(કોઈ ને વિચાર ના કરવો હોય અને પ્રાર્થના કરવી હોય તો તે ) કરીએ કે આપણે બીજા પાસે થી ઓછી અને પોતાની પાસે થી વધુ અપેક્ષા રાખીએ. જેથી ભારતીય ક્રિકેટ ટીમ પર જેમ જોકે બને છે એવા જોક આપણા દેશ પર ના બને.

The following post is helpful for you, if you are looking for something to know about admission processes in Canadian Universities. Discussed procedures are good for students who had under-graduation from India.
The post looks like an essay but, that’s the shortest I can do it!!
M.Sc.( Masters of applied Science)
Streams: Engineering, Science
The program includes course work along with thesis submission. Funding opportunities are available for this course and assistantships are also offered to enrolled students by department. The admission process is bit painstaking and time consuming because of involvement of professor’s node to take you under his supervision. Professor agrees to supervise student based on Application which includes Statement of Purpose (S.O.P). The same process goes for PhD as well. Student need to communicate with professor in order to convince him to supervise research work during studies. The academics are expected to be around 70% equivalent of Indian marking systems with 7.0 in IELTS. Some universities may need Masters from back home to get admitted in masters degree in their Universities(well reputed universities).
Fees are lower than M.Eng or any college fees (for an instance University of Windsor charges around 6000CAD per semester for M.Sc., while college charges around 6700CAD per semester).
M.Eng. (Masters of Engineering)
Sterams: Engineering
Requirements of Admission is >=6.5 bands IELTS or >= 92 bands in TOEFL. Academics requirements vary as per university requirements but on an average more than 60% percentage is required for most universities. Certain universities may have higher academics requirements. Some (not every) universities recommend work experience for admitting students. The aim of designing this course is to provide state of the art latest technology knowledge to working professionals. Candidates need to complete 8 -10 graduate courses as per their choice from department and from other departments. Universities may have policies on number of backlogs allowed but it can be changed based upon work experience of an applicant.
The fees is course base, i.e. you pay as you study, degree is awarded upon completion of credit hours required.
To get admitted in this program is little bit easier than M.Sc., because fees is higher in this course than that of M.Sc. Moreover, funding opportunities in M.Eng is not very much. The Co-op opportunities are available during studies and can lead to permanent job offer in future. An another benefit of Co-Op term is that if a student works for 8 months, almost 90% fees can be earned in the duration of 8 Months.

The sole purpose of writing this post is to create awareness about admission process in the Universities which can lead to better and easier ways to get PR after studies and better job opportunities as well. CIC has a dedicated priority category for the processing of PR applications for Masters Student in Canada (Some rules may vary per state but they are all in all favorable for Masters Students compared to college graduates).
So Friends, if you are in India and reading this, want to study in Canada, start doing your homework and apply by yourself, you don’t need consultancy to get admission, because even though you ask them to help they will not be able to help you really because, the way Canadian Universities ask for documents (transcripts, reference letters) is slightly different than US Universities. Additionally, In some regions (Especially, Gujarat) of India, consultants do not prefer to help for the University admissions. They have their own reasons (low success rate of getting admission compared to colleges, no commission in fees, limited number of seats in Universities and many more)for it. So, you are the only one who can help your selves.

આ ડોક્યુમેન્ટરી ફિલ્મ BBC એ ૨૦૦૫-૨૦૦૬ ના સમયગાળા દરમ્યાન બનાવેલી છે, અને ગીર ના સિંહ ને જો જોવા નો મોકો ના મળ્યો હોય કે પછી મોકો મળવા છતાં સંતોષ ના થયો હોય તો આ ફિલ્મ જોવા જેવી ખરી. સરસ કથન (નેરેશન) અને સંગીત સાથે સિંહ ની સાથે સંકળાયેલા વિવિધ વાદવિવાદ (ઇસ્યુ) નું રસાળ વર્ણન.
ગીર ના જંગલમાં સિંહ ની વસ્તી માં થતો વધારો સિંહ માટે અને આસપાસ ના ગામ ના ખેડૂતો બંને માટે પ્રતિકુળ સાબિત થઇ રહ્યો કારણકે સિંહ ના માટે ફાળવેલો નેશનલ પાર્ક નો વિસ્તાર[1,412 km²] અચલ રહે છે, અને સિંહ તેથી ગીર ના અમુક બહાર ના ગામો માં શિકાર કરતા થયા છે અને આ વાત ને અખબારો દ્વારા સમયાંતરે પુષ્ટિ મળતી રહે છે. ખેડૂતો નો પેટદુખાવો તેમના પશુ (ગાય , ભેંશ) નો શિકાર સિંહ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવે છે તે છે.
આ ફિલ્મ માં માલધારી ની જિંદગી વિષે પણ પ્રકાશ પાડવામાં આવ્યો છે. મીના (Phd student from south India) ટીમ ને ફિલ્મ માં એસ્કોર્ટ કરે છે અને એના પરિચિત સિંહ અને સિંહણ થી પરિચિત કરાવે છે.
હવે વસ્તી વિષે જોઈએ તો ગીર માં સિંહ ની વસ્તી માં સાતત્યપૂર્ણ વધારો જોવા મળ્યો છે
૨૦૦૫ માં ૩૫૯ સિંહ હતા જે વધી ને ૨૦૧૦ માં ૪૧૧ થયા છે , ૨૦૧૦ ની સિંહ ની વસ્તી માં ૯૭ નર અને ૧૬૨ માદા નોંધાયા છે , જે દર્શાવે છે કે સિંહ ના સમાજ માં બેટી બચાવો અંદોલન ની હાલ પુરતી જરૂર નથી પરન્તુ ત્યાં બેટાબચાવો અંદોલન ની જરૂર છે. એક ભય સિંહ નો સદંતર નાશ થવાનો છે અને તેના માટે કોઈ અગમ્ય રોગચાળો ફાટી નીકળે એવી શક્યતા છે કારણકે સિંહ ના જનીન માં વિવિધતા ની ઉણપ છે અને તેના પરિણામ ઇન્ટર ફેમીલી મેરેજ જેવા આવી સકે અને આવું આફ્રિકા માં સિંહો સાથે બનેલું છે, જયરામ રમેશ (પર્યાવરણ મંત્રી , ભારત સરકાર) સિંહો ના વૈલ્કપિક આવાસ માટે આ એક કારણ ગણાવે છે.
સિંહ અને વાઘ ની લડાઈ માં વાઘ જીતે એવું આ ફિલ્મ માં જણાવે છે , કારણ છે વાઘ ૫૦ કિલો વધારે વજનદાર હોય છે અને આ વજન નો તફાવત વાઘ ને સિંહ સાથે ની આમને સામને ની લડાઈ માં ફાયદો કરાવી આપે છે. વૈલ્કીપ રહેઠાણ માટે ના જંગલ માં વાઘ વાસી રહ્યા છે અને જો સિંહો ને ત્યાં ખસેડવા માં આવે તો સિંહ નું અસ્તિત્વ જોખમા માં મુકાય.
મેં બે વાર ગીર માં સિંહ જોયેલા છે પણ આ ફિલ્મ થી સિંહ ના જીવન વિષે વધુ સારી રીતે જાણવાનો મોકો મળ્યો.
